fnatic and mTw have both joined Ukrainian duo Na´Vi and PinG in the semi-final stage at Arbalet Cup Europe. The Swedish side had already been assured of a spot in the semi finals after beating both UNiTED and mTw early on, but they still wanted to grab a perfect nine points. fnatic, who started off on de_inferno as CT, proved a very strong figure in the first half, being up 10-5 at the break. mousesports looked strong in the second half and gave the Swedes a serious scare, but they recovered in the last rounds to grab a 16-14 victory. With mouz out of the race, mTw would only walk out home in case of a huge defeat to UNiTED. The Danish giants could not capitalise on the first-half score of 11-4, and let the Russian-based team get closer and closer, but in the end a 17-13 defeat still gave mTw the necessary round difference to proceed in the tournament. Arbalet Cup Europe will resume tomorrow with the semi-finals, where Na´Vi will take on mTw and fnatic will welcome PinG. |
